Happy Holidays !!!

I feel like I have stuffed myself enough to go hibernate for a month. Food, food and more of it. A potluck day before yesterday for our department, yesterday for the entire hospital and today the leftovers from yesterday. Not to mention the multitude of Hershey’s kisses, ferrero rochers, caramelized popcorn, milano cookies…you name it, that occupies any available space around my department. The temptations’ too great to resist. The delectable Belgian chocolates on the table that entice me, the homemade chocolate chip cookies……..ooohh……..I will have to pay for it later but for now I am going to forget what I learnt about carbs and fats and gorge myself…all in the name of the holiday spirit.

some ladies at work made some rum balls and some bourbon balls... the bourbon balls were totally loaded with alcohol... it was like having a shot everytime you took a bite... unfortunately the location of the bourbon ball stash just happened to lie between my cube and the kitchen (where i go at least twenty times a day)... needless to say i had a pretty good kick by the time each day was over...
on a normal day (a day in any one of the remaining 51 weeks of the year), the stuff i deliver never works... so maybe, in the last week, the stuff i delivered might actually work and actually be of some use to my company... :))

ooops forgot to mention the main point in my comment...
why are you worried about carbs and fats ? didn't you just become the covergirl for the new Complan-For-Adults ad campaign and their "i'm a growing (sideways) girl" slogan ??
